Commercial Film Production in Stockholm, Sweden
Storyboard Film produces commercials in Stockholm for companies, brands and agencies. We work from concept and script through directing, filming and post-production – with a focus on films that capture attention, communicate a clear idea and strengthen the brand.
Since 1997, we have produced commercials for both international brands and growing companies. Each production is built around the idea, channel and budget – from efficient productions with a compact senior team to larger shoots involving actors, studio, specialist crew, visual effects and extensive post-production.
From cost-effective digital campaigns to national and international TV commercials.

What Makes a Commercial Effective?
A strong commercial starts before the camera begins rolling. It starts with a clear understanding of who the film needs to reach and what it needs to achieve.
Often, the strongest film communicates one idea really well rather than trying to say everything at once.
Concept, tone, casting, cinematography, music and pace should all work in the same direction. Sometimes humour is the right approach; sometimes emotion, surprise or a distinctive visual idea. What matters is that the film earns attention while remaining relevant to the brand.
We combine extensive experience in commercial production with an efficient way of working. Senior creative and production expertise stays close to the project, decision-making is direct, and the team is scaled according to what the idea actually requires.
When additional specialists are needed, we bring in the right freelancers and production partners.
This means a larger share of the budget can be spent on what the audience actually sees and hears on screen.
From Concept to Finished Commercial Brief and Objectives
We start with the target audience, message, channels and what the campaign needs to achieve. This gives us the foundation for both the creative idea and the right production level.
Working Directly with Your Marketing Team – or with Your Agency
Many of our clients come directly from an in-house marketing or communications team and want a production partner who can take responsibility for the complete process from initial idea to finished film.
If the main objective is company communication rather than advertising, our corporate video production may be a better fit.
On other projects, we work alongside advertising agencies, creative teams and external specialists.
We are comfortable with both approaches and adapt our role to each project. This can mean an efficient digital campaign produced with a compact team, or a larger commercial production for national or international television.
The production setup should fit the idea, audience and budget – not the other way around.
How Much Does a Commercial Cost?
The cost of commercial production can vary considerably.
A film with a small cast and a single shooting day requires a very different setup from a larger production involving actors, several locations, production design, specialist equipment and extensive post-production.
We therefore do not work from one standard production model.
If you already have a budget range, we can use it as a starting point and recommend where the resources will make the greatest difference. In many projects, a high production value can be achieved through careful planning, an experienced core team and by adding specialists only where they genuinely improve the result.
The objective is not to make the production as cheap as possible, but to create as much quality and impact as possible from the available budget.
AI as a Tool in Film Production
AI is creating new possibilities in film production, but for us it is a tool – not a replacement for ideas, directing, cinematography or storytelling.
We use AI where it can genuinely improve the process or give the client more value from the production, for example in concept development, previsualisation and storyboarding, selected visual elements, post-production and versioning.
Some projects benefit from combining traditional filmmaking with AI. In others, there is no reason to use it at all. The technology should always serve the film – not define it.
Selected Commercial Cases
COMMERCIAL – TERRA DELYSSA
How do you create an international commercial that combines premium appeal with the sensory pleasure of food?
For Terra Delyssa, we created a commercial in which the olive oil became a natural part of warm human moments, beautiful food and the Mediterranean feeling associated with the brand.
The focus was on people, taste and sensory imagery rather than simply explaining the product – allowing emotion and a distinctive brand identity to work together.
The production featured several cast members and was designed so that the campaign could be adapted for different markets. AI-assisted music and voice-over were developed for different language versions, while selected product shots and labels were adapted using VFX. The film shown here is the UK version.

COMMERCIAL – RIX FM
How do you make the advertising feel as entertaining as the brand itself?
We have produced numerous commercials for RIX FM over the years, usually featuring presenters Laila Bagge and Roger Nordin and, in some campaigns, Markoolio.
Humour, personality and the chemistry between the presenters are central to the films.
For this TV commercial, we took the trio to Rhodes and built the story around a banana boat, Roger’s obsession with safety and Markoolio’s considerably less cautious approach to life at sea.
We developed the concept and script and produced the location shoot with a compact team – demonstrating how an efficient production setup can still deliver humour, pace and strong visual production value.

COMMERCIAL – TROPICANA
How do you create premium advertising for a global brand with a small and efficient production?
For Tropicana’s Swedish market, the challenge was to create advertising that felt relevant to a local audience while remaining clearly within an established international brand world.
We built the film around a simple breakfast moment, using light, food, people and detailed product imagery to communicate quality and enjoyment.
By concentrating the idea and keeping the production efficient, we were able to focus resources on what actually appeared on screen rather than building a larger production structure than the concept required.
The project is a good example of how a major brand can create locally relevant commercial content with strong visual quality within a tightly managed production framework.
