Österåker Municipality – Telling the Story Through the People

How do you communicate the value of a public service without making the film feel like institutional communication?

For Österåker Municipality, we produced an information video about its youth services.

The story was built around the experiences of the young people themselves and the adults working with them. Instead of describing participation, learning and safety as abstract concepts, the audience gets to meet the people and see the organisation in real situations.

Interviews, documentary footage and music were shaped into a film that both explains the service and communicates the sense of trust and community around it.
